This is a LightBurn software license key for users with GCode controllers (DIY / hobby). It unlocks the trial version of the software for permanent use, and allows installing on up to two computers, PC, Mac, Or Linux. The key will be emailed to you (this may take up to 24 hours)You can read more about the license here.

The GCode version supports Cohesion3D, Smoothieware, Grbl, Marlin, and Grbl-LPC based controllers.  (Note, if you have an Emblaser from Darkly Labs, please purchase your LightBurn license directly from them)

Q&A about Lightburn License

Is it a subscription? 

- No. You pay once, the software will work forever as long as you have your license key.

How many computers can I use it on? 

- The license lets you use the software on up to two computers at once, they don't have to use the same operating system, and a license can be easily moved if you get a new computer. If you need to use 3 computers, we'll happily update your license to allow it, for free - just email support@lightburnsoftware.com with your license key and ask for a 3rd seat. If you need more seats, or a floating license setup, we can do that too - contact us for pricing and details.

Does the license expire? 

- The license key has an expiry date - a year from when you first activate it. When it expires, it's still valid, you just don't get updates any more. If you download a version of the software released after your license expires, it won't work, but any version released before the key expired will continue to work. 

Please note that the two computer limit doesn't mean you can only install the software twice - the license system in LightBurn keeps track of which computers you have the key installed on. If you get a new computer and want to move the license to it, just deactivate the old computer first.  In LightBurn, go to Help > License Management, and click the Deactivate button. That will remove the old computer from your license, and then you can install the license on the new machine.  If you ever have a hard disk fail, or sell a computer, we can remove the computer from the license for you, as long as we have your license key.

Order Processing

Orders will be processed within 1-3 business days after full payment is received. Tracking numbers will be updated as soon as they become available.

Multiple packages of the same order may arrive from different fulfillment centers, or at different times depending on the availability of the item.

If the item you ordered is temporarily out of stock, you will be contacted by our customer service representative. You can choose to wait for re-stocking or cancel your order.

The shipping time is a estimated time. Invalid address, customs clearance procedures, the bad weather or other reasons will lead to a longer delivery time than expected.

Which warehouse will your package be shipped from?

US PLUG / USA: Shipping to USA only  ( Please don't place the order from this warehouse if you're not in USA).
EU PLUG / EU MEMBER STATES: Shipping to EU member states only  ( Please don't place the order from this warehouse if you're not in an EU member state).
CN: Shipping to all countries where orders can be placed.

About Customs Duty

Most of our products are stocked in US warehouses and European warehouses. In this case, most of the customer's orders will be shipped from the corresponding warehouses, so customers from EU member states and the US do not need to pay any customs duty. Orders from other countries will be shipped from the Shenzhen Warehouse in China, and most of the orders will incur customs duty, which is borne by the customers themselves.

However, if the products are out of stock in the US or EU countries' warehouses, we will also ship them from Shenzhen, China. In this case, customers from EU member countries need to bear the customs duty by themselves.

Don't worry, we will contact customers in advance if they need to bear the customs duty.

The return procedure varies depending on the status of the order.

Return Conditions

 If an order has been delivered, returns must be made within 30 days of the date of delivery.
You will need to provide the original receipt and pay the service and shipping charges to obtain a refund.

  • No replacement products are allowed after delivery.
  • Refunds for products shipped from overseas warehouses will need to wait until the staff receives the package.

How Long Does It Take?

  • In order to process your return in a timely manner, please include the logistic face sheet, hand-signed receipt, order number and sender's name in your email.
  • If you are returning the item yourself, please contact customer support in advance and provide a tracking number so that we can track the progress of the shipment.
  • Once we have received the returned product, it usually takes 3-5 working days for the refund to be processed.
  • We will check the condition of the product and send you a confirmation email once it has been approved. The bank will then process the rest of the refund process.
  • If you do not receive a refund long after you have received your confirmation email, please check with your bank.
